The annual Custom Chrome Europe Show has established itself as THE European motorcycle event of the year. With the new Custom Chrome Europe catalogue, signals for 2006 again point to "ALL SYSTEMS GO!". The enthusiastic response to what they saw gave Holger Mohr, Managing Director of Custom Chrome Europe, every reason to point out: "We are looking forward to a very successful year!" - The year started with an event that has again attracted more exhibitors, bike builders and visitors than ever before.
The show delivered plenty sensations: Presenting four EC-approved Custom Chrome Motorcycles, street-legal in ALL countries of the European Union, Holger Mohr and CUSTOM CHROME EUROPE's staff received standing ovations. Moreover, Fred Kodlin, Cory Ness and Paul Yaffe presented their recent creations in a world premiere. Overall, 47 international vendors participated in the exhibitions. S&S, TP, RevTech and Corbin, to name but a few, displayed everything desired by the V-2 scene, from the tiniest special-purpose screw up to complete engines. After talking gasoline all day long, The Saturday evening party brought together bike builders, vendors, and CCE contracted dealers who celebrated this extraordinary get together with German beer and fine food.
On Sunday, the doors of the Phoenix hall opened to the public who flooded in with great interest in all the facets of customizing on display. The European Championship of Custombike Building attracted 120 Custombikes of outstanding quality by 98 customizers from no less than 20 different countries. The jury - selected from more than 20 industry professionals - had a difficult time judging this top-level selection of handcrafted motorcycles. The five winners will be sent to Sturgis/South Dakota to compete in the 2006 World Championship of Custombike Building in August, carrying the growing reputation of European customizing out in the world.
Next year's annual Custom Chrome Europa Dealer Show will tke flace from March, 24 to 25, again at the Phoenix Hall.
